About Haodong Harry Wu

Harry recently graduated from the University of Westminster with a BA(Hons) in Architecture.

During his final year in studio DS3(5) with Mr. Bruce Irwin and Mrs.Catherine Phillips,  the new online teaching method changed the direction of the work style, and he quickly adapted to using various modeling and rendering software to advance his design. The design studio DS3(5) is focusing on exploring a new approach to offer the Shepherd's Bush Market(London) a new vitality and redefine what is the public space.


His second year was in studio DS2(5) with Mrs.Camilia Wilkinson and Mr.Chris Bryant which focusing on what value can architecture bring to Margate. So two project sites were in Margate, Kent. The first semester was designing - Fish & Chip shop as a testing ground, an experimental terrain. And the second semester was focusing on a further education establishment that focuses on the teaching of manual skills. Assuming that conventional systems of education have failed to reach the young unemployed, new methods were asked to be used suggesting new kinds of spaces for a laboratory of learning.

His first year in Studio C with Mrs. Richa Mukhia and Tszwai So which focusing on the Human scale, Urban bothy, A temporary structure at Lower Mash Waterloo, London.
